Yeshiva Tuition Elimination Comission
There are 80 thousand community members. When all sign up to pay $3000 per year, and we combine those funds with our government subsidies and the support of large community donors, we will be able to offer free education.
YTEC is a fund which will completely replace tuition as a means of financing our yeshivot. A 3000 dollar per year payment from each person in the community will eliminate the need for tuition. The money will go directly to the schools, we are advised by council it will be tax deductible.

Our community is dealing with an urgent tuition crisis.
On average, tuition fees are soaring to over $25,000 per child annually, with a 3% increase each year. This situation is not sustainable and puts the future of our community at risk.
Currently, 40% of our community requires tuition assistance. By 2026, this number is projected to rise to 60%.

YTEC at a glance
YTEC'S PROGRAM AIMS TO DISTRIBUTE the YESHIVA COSTS among all members of the community.

YTEC’s program will distribute the Yeshiva operating expenses among all community members. YTEC recommends that parents of children attending Yeshiva take on the responsibility of signing up their parents and grandparents as this will greatly help YTEC in reaching its goal of signing up the required number to launch the program. Financially it will often be advantageous for parents to pay for their parents who cannot pay the $3000.
Children are $3000 each as long as they are single whether in school or not. When children are married they are no longer the responsibility of their parents.
Credit card information is required. No credit card will be charged until free tuition is guaranteed.
12 monthly payments are an option as well as any other arrangement. Quarterly or all upfront.
The $3000 per person payment can be effectively structured into 12 installments of $250 each, providing a more manageable distribution over time. Following tax deductions, the net payment amounts to $150 per month.

- Paying the $3000 for their parents is cheaper than regular tuition.
- 4 kids = $25,000x 4= $100,000
- 4 kids 2 parents + 4 grandparents = 10x $3000 =$30,000 minus 40% tax deductions
- $12,000 = $18,000 total net outlay

This is the most democratic way of solving the tuition dilemma. It’s a collective solution to a community problem. It is similar to the way the public school system works which relies on the payments of it’s citizens'.
Our goal is to secure the continuity of our Torah education and values for future generations.
